Lost for ideas? Head for the kitchen! I don’t own many quilted things but I do have two sets of pot holders. (And I’m not really sure if they are quilted in the strict sense, but they will have to do for this week)

A bit of a desperation shot but still: When it comes to making coffee, I have opted for the simple and practical. No complicated brewers when a grinder will do.

I’m not sure if “opulent” is the best way to describe Jorks Passage which is right off Strøget in central Copenhagen. Still, the details and decorations are a far cry from the more austere ideals of modernism. The passage was designed by Vilhelm Dahlerup.

The theme was “nocturnal”. I was a bit early and took a snapshot of my backyard – reflections included – around sunset
