I’m not sure if “opulent” is the best way to describe Jorks Passage which is right off Strøget in central Copenhagen. Still, the details and decorations are a far cry from the more austere ideals of modernism. The passage was designed by Vilhelm Dahlerup.

As it is, I wasn’t happy with the first attempt so I made a second using six books, six colours, three languages and two subjects.

For a close-up, this is a bit of a long shot for this week’s theme which was “Kaleidoscopic”. Still, the leaves have been changing colours and undergone other changes during the seasons.

I came across this log which fortunately has been left rotting next to the path by Odense River. I thought it fitted the theme “jagged” nicely.

In fact, I liked the scene so much that I give you some extra photos:

“Innermost” opened for an obvious interpretation – except that I actually wear glasses and that taking the picture with a mobile phone was not as easy as one might think.

This week: A desperation shot for “healthy”
